Renault key cards are a great idea but they are easily damaged by dropping them, slamming them in car doors, sitting down with them in your pocket, dropping them in the toaster, microwaving them, windsurfing with them, running them over or just using them.
 

Replacement Renault key cards are expensive from Renault main dealers and you will need to show identification together with your V5 ownership document before they will be ordered adding a further 7 to 10 days. Once your Renault key card arrives you will then need to get your car to the Renault dealer to have the Renault key card programmed adding another week.
